Mid-west born and raised! Missouri is where I got my earliest acting credits. I moved to Los Angeles to study acting at AMDA College of the Performing Arts. I have relocated to LA to pursue more on-screen and voice work. The Mindy project was a self defining staple for myself and I currently enjoy shows such as Grownish, Degrassi and Modern family. These shows match my smart, corky sidekick aesthetic.
Shaelynn Alfred is currently co starring in a short film set to release in 2022. Her most favorite project was with the Coterie theater in Kansas City, Missouri. The Health Education Project was a professional, year long traveling acting group dedicated to educating and connecting with youth in the community. Based on Shaelynn’s outgoing background and helpful nature she was bound to find an outreach project mixed with her passion for acting. Through her charismatic nurturing nature she has received both state and capital level proclamations in Missouri for her dedication in the community. Another achievement of recognition is her unarmed stage combat certification passed by the Nation American Fight Association. She obtained this honor while attending Amda College of the Performing Arts. She received her conservatory studies there as well as her bachelors of fine arts. Shaelynn is honored to have studied under phenomenal working professionals and can’t wait to carry the legacy she’s been gifted with.
I am a stage, screen and voice actor. Please see my resumé for the details of my experience and skills.
